High Country Clay is a community-centered art studio located in the beautiful Boone, NC. However, the story really starts in an old garage in Meat Camp with the most unlikely crew of creatives. Starting as just a plan on some old sheets of paper, HCC quickly started and growing and forming due to the dedication of our members. In a whirlwind of only a few months we began opporating out of our new home, and we’re so excited to welcome you in.
Mission
High Country Clay is a collective of artists and creatives that want to build connections, nurture community, and explore conversations in clay.
Goal
High Country Clay is focused on encouraging creativity in every sense of the word. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment to allow for artistic and personal growth. From beginners to pros, we facilitate a community that allows for everyone to work together and learn from each other.
